I live in New River, Arizona and about every desert scene is taken on the property I live. I became handicapped about 4 years ago and even though I can't walk far my doctors orders were to walk as much as I could. To take my mind off the pain I started carrying my camera I bought for a Christmas present. I really started enjoying the sunsets and desert beauty a lot more than I had before. In fact I look forward to the mornings and afternoons on the desert. I entered a contest in Arizona with one of the pictures and won an Arizona Camera Bag and of course I had to upgrade my camera a little more. I was born at Walter Reed Hospital in Washington, D.C.
